What we keep in your browser
For people who buy in the shop: only what is strictly needed for it to work. We use no analytics, advertising or third-party cookies, so we don't ask for permission with a banner.
- Your cart and what you save for later (the browser's local storage): the pieces and quantities. The cart empties when you finish buying; what you saved for later, when you remove it.
- The discount code you type and, for a personal coupon, the proof that it's yours (local storage): until you remove it, it stops being valid or you sign out.
- Your language and light or dark mode (local storage), only if you choose them.
- Your favourites (local storage): the pieces you mark with the heart. They stay on this device and, if you sign in to your account, are kept in it too.
- Your payment's progress (local and session storage): the order you're paying for and its pieces, to tell you how it ends even if you close the tab; deleted shortly after it's confirmed or expires. We also keep the internal references of your latest paid orders (10 at most, nothing about you), so their pieces don't leave the cart twice.
- If you go to sign in from the checkout, what you had typed for the delivery (session storage): your name, phone and address, the invoice details and the gift, never your email, so you don't type them again when you come back. In this tab only; deleted when you're back at the checkout, if you leave without signing in, when you close the tab or after 15 minutes.
- If you sign in to your account, a few marks (local storage): that you're signed in, that we've already invited you to create one when saving a favourite, and when your favourites were saved to it. The session's are deleted when you sign out.
- One cookie, and only if you sign in to your account: your session's (__Host-lu-session), strictly necessary; deleted when you sign out or after 30 days unused and, at most, after 90.
- No analytics, advertising or third-party cookies in the shop. When you pay you go to Stripe's secure page, which uses its own cookies, needed for the payment and to prevent fraud (stripe.com/cookie-settings).
